SAP Note 1353827 - AC interface: Document split in FI for goods movements

SAP Note 1353827 -AC interface: Document split in FI for
goods movements
Note Language: English Version: 1 Validity: Valid Since 16.06.2009

Summary

Symptom

In the standard system, goods movement documents with more than 999 line
items cannot be generated in FI.
If a goods movement posting to accounting is triggered from the module MM,
which would result in an FI document with more than 999 line items, the
system issues error F5 727 ("Maximum number of items in FI reached") and
the posting is not possible.

More Terms

Goods movement, MIGO, MB01, MB1A, MB1C, reference transaction AWTYP 'MKPF',
maximum number of line items in an FI document, 999, F7 727

Cause and Prerequisites

In these cases, a corresponding document split in FI was not provided until
now.

Solution

Implement the attached correction instructions in your system.
After you implement the corrections, the system executes an automatic
document split in FI for goods movement postings with more than 999 line
items in FI, if summarization is not activated for goods movement postings
in FI. This document split allows for the structure of goods movement
postings and therefore does not result in split clearing lines.
